TELLCAP® certificate № 4000 issued in March

tellcap3000Congratulations to the owner of the jubilee TELLCAP Certificate® № 4000!

An air traffic controller from Kazakhstan Azamat Aitzhanov appeared to be a happy owner of this Certifiacte. He passed the test successfully and demonstrated possession of General and Aviation English at level 4 of the ICAO scale.

r ICAOTest Service Providers (TSPs) of the three ICAO recognized tests: TELLCAP, ELPAC and RELTA met with the ICAO Aviation English Language Test Service (AELTS) on 25-26 March 2014 in Montreal, Canada.

CompLang was represented by the TELLCAP Project Manager, Ms.Maria Volkova.

The focus was on the problems encountered by the TSPs during the ICAO test endorsement procedure; current global situation with English language proficiency of pilots and controllers; aviation English language proficiency tests being used around the world; ICAO language proficiency scale and level 6; AELTS performance effectiveness and further development of AELTS. TELLCAP and ELPAC gave presentations on their latest test activities and achievements.

TELLCAP® is now also recommended for Air Traffic Controllers

nd201210312Head of Federal Agency of Air Transport (Rosaviation) Alexander Neradko signed an order that officially recommends TELLCAP® test to determine the level of English proficiency developed by Aviation Training Centre "CompLang" not only for Russian pilots, but also for Air Traffic Controllers. This year TELLCAP® passed ICAO approval process.

The test has been taken by citizens of about 20 states. Earlier TELLCAP® test was approved by the Interstate Aviation Committee to use in the member states. Last year, the test was recognized in Austria.

TELLCAP® is currently the only test out of those developed in the Russian Federation, which managed to get the ICAO approval.
